TECHCELERATE
Accelerating youth in entrepreneurship & tech for social good
At Techcelerate, we empower students to tackle some of society's most challenging problems by intersecting two of the most powerful fields: business and technology. We do this with our novel curriculum that fosters growth in entrepreneurial skills in conjunction with teaching relevant technological tools.
TECHCELERATE AT A GLANCE
What We Do
Our founders created Techcelerate in response to the limited opportunities that the younger generation has in intersecting some of the biggest fields of our time: technology and business. At Techcelerate, we create programs to help bridge that gap and inspire ingenuity in youth through our myriad summer course offerings, including our very first virtual summer program, Hack++!
HACK++ SUMMER SESSION REGISTRATION
Hack++ will be held from July 12th - 23rd from 3:00 - 4:30 PM virtually, with mentor support availably asynchronously throughout the day. The first week will encompass intensive workshops to teach students the basics of app development and the key checkpoints in how to pitch an idea. The second week will be guided support for students to apply the skills they learned the first week to build an app with MIT App Inventor or Thunkable. The last day will be time for students to pitch their apps to their peers and special guests, get an opportunity to network, and like in the real field! Students do not need prior coding experience to join.
The registration deadline for Hack++ is July 5th, 2021.
